Space on the Hill: Is There Life on Other Planets?
The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) and the AAS co-sponsor a briefing series, Space on the Hill — an educational breakfast briefing for policymakers on Capitol Hill. Briefings include breakfast and coffee.
The next Space on the Hill briefing, "Is There Life on Other Planets," will be held 20 June 2017, 9:30-10:30 am in Rayburn 2325. Speakers:

- Sarah Ballard – How do we find planets and what planets we have found
- Mercedes Lopez-Morales – How we learn if a planet has life on it
