Register Now for Equity in Graduate Admissions Workshop

The Inclusive Graduate Education Network (IGEN) and the American Astronomical Society (AAS) will hold an online event on the Fundamentals of Equity in Graduate Admissions for AAS members on Tuesday, 28 February, at 1:00 pm ET.

In this workshop, data and research are presented about the role of typical admissions practices in maintaining racial/ethnic inequalities in graduate education, as well as strategies for more equitable processes and outcomes. This workshop is two hours long. Graduate admissions committees and department leaders would benefit the most from the workshop, although all are welcome to attend.
